Art Wing

The Hecht Museum’s art collection features unique masterpieces by major figures in French art from the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as works of Jewish art and artists associated with the School of Paris.
The core of the collection stems from the contribution of Dr. Hecht—a passionate art enthusiast and dedicated patron—who assembled a rich collection that reflects his vision and his profound commitment to the intersection of art, history, and Jewish heritage.
Building upon the founder’s legacy, the museum has expanded the collection over the years, incorporating works by Israeli artists. Today, it comprises paintings, drawings, prints, and sculptures that explore themes of landscape, the human figure, tradition, and identity.
We invite you to discover selected highlights from the collection and to explore the museum’s exhibitions—both past and present—which recount the story of our artistic endeavors throughout the years.
